Across decades and genres, Larry shines

Larry Spencer plays a rich tapestry of styles: classical, pop, rock, latin and jazz. Larry attended Capital University Conservatory of Music in Columbus, Ohio and the University of North Texas and became a member of the famed 1:00 Lab Band. Mr. Spencer has been fortunate to have performed and toured with many wonderful stars including: Frank Sinatra, Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle, Bob Hope, Andy Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Tormé, Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Rita Moreno, The Dixie Chicks, Cab Calloway, Billy Eckstine, Joe Williams, Lou Rawls, Reba McIntyre, Barry Manilow, Rita Moreno, Toni Tenille, Marvin Hamlisch, Natalie Cole, and Ray Charles.

Mr. Spencer very much enjoys wearing his "classical” hat. He has played principal and section trumpet with many regional symphonies and even as the guest soloist in the National Symphony of Peru. Larry has been recorded on over 80 CD’s, several movie soundtracks, dozens of radio and tv jingles, and the morning show, “Marcus and Joni.”
